Keanu And A Cupcake
Who frowns at an innocent and sweet cupcake? Who stares at a cupcake as though it's the reason why their urethra is swollen to the point where the jizz just dribbles out? Who looks down at a cupcake like it's the cause of that annoying ass mosquito buzzing in their ear in the middle of the night and waking them up? KEANU REEVES DOES! Frowning at a cupcake is like frowning at a bowl full of kittens.

It's as if Mel Gibson and White Oprah simultaneously queefed on his cupcake. If something as perfect as a cupcake can't cure Keanu of the chronic sads, then what can?!

In his defense, Keanu is shooting some move called Generation Um, so it's possible that his character is the one who feels nothing when faced with a sugary cake of happiness. But Keanu makes it look so real. STAINS is still putting him on notice.

I tried to peruse this gallery to pick out the best shots for you guys but ya know, I couldn’t delete one from the set. My fellow die hard Keanu Reeves fans won’t mind I’m sure.

These new shots are of Reeves on location of his new movie, “Generation Um…” in New York City, New York on Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010. The film follows a day in the life of Reeves’ character and his two friends as they embark on a path of self-discovery after drifting through life in a haze of sex, drugs and indecision.

Gotta love how he licks his fingers, must have been a damn good cupcake!

Loner Keanu Reeves finds himself some more company... as he gets back to the day job

It's clearly where he feels most at home. As Keanu Reeves was seen in uncharacteristic smiling pose as he chatted to a couple of workers on a film set.

The actor who has become notorious for the many pictures of him chilling on his own has finally left his solitary existence behind him - aided in part, by his return to work.

Ordinary people: Keanu Reeves is putting his loner image to bed, as he is seen enjoying being in the company of people on a film set in New York yesterday

The actor was seen surrounded by people as he began filming on the set of indie film Generation Um.

Earlier he was in typical solitary pose as he sucked hard on his cigarette, but it didn't stay that way for long, as two women stopped to chat with the actor.

And later he could be seen chomping on a cup cake - but rather than a celebratory one, like the one he had on his birthday, this time he was eating for the cameras.

Keanu will star alongside actresses Bojana Novakovic and Adelaide Clemens in the film which follows a day in the life of Reeves' character and his two cohorts.

Back on set: Keanu took a cigarette break, before being filmed on set in an outfit that looked very much like his own clothes

The film observes the trio's adventures as they live life on the fringe, immersed in sex, drugs and indecision.

Clearly nothing like the solitary actor's own life.

The actor had been the subject of a Facebook campaign called 'Cheer Up Keanu' .

Daniel Murphy, 21, who created the Cheer Up Keanu Facebook page to advertise calls for a new holiday to be established.

He said: 'I don't really think he's that sad; I just think his work is under-appreciated.'

Quiet on the set: Keanu's day on set looks like a scene out of his own life

Reeves' representatives want the world, and Keanu's legions of fans to know that their client isn't depressed, in the slightest.

A day in the life: Reeves focuses on the job in hand

'Keanu Reeves would like to thank all of his fans for their concerns regarding his happiness and wants to assure everyone that all is well,' his spokesperson said.

Meanwhile another of Reeves projects may fail to get the go ahead.

Cowboy Bebop is a movie based on the anime series that Reeves was attached to star in and produce.

Last year he said the live-action version was being rewritten in order to reduce the massive cost of making the film.

And the actor said very little has changed about the dilemma facing the film.

Reeves told MTV News: 'Every time [the script] comes back, it's still a gazillion dollars. Every time they try to pare it down, it's like, 'Well, that's not the film, what about the other kajillion?'

And the 46-year-old Reeves admitted that he might be getting a little too old to play bounty hunter Spike Spiegel, the story's main character.

He said: 'I'm getting too old to play Spike...'now I'd play Spike's older brother.'

Keanu Reeves: I'm Trying To Do 'Bill & Ted 3'

Keanu Reeves is busy on the set of his new film Generation Um on Wednesday (September 22) in New York City.

The 46-year-old actor says that he’d love to reprise the role of Ted that he played in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, MTV reports.

Keanu added that the movies’ original screenwriters, Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, were interested in giving another script a go. “We’ll see what they do. If it’s a film that can stand up on its own … and I’m meeting people now, they’ve shown the film to their kids,” he said. “We just seek to entertain, and if that could be something that could be worthwhile, on its own …”
