Keanu Reeves Leaves Nobu With A Mystery Brunette
June 13, 2011 3:45 pm
Keanu Reeves was snapped enjoying a night out with a mystery brunette in London Saturday night. Leaving Nobu restaurant with his date, Reeves wasn’t as excited to see paparazzi as they were to see him.

Last year, a picture of a depressed-lookin Reeves surfaced, prompting fans to wonder what was wrong with our beloved Speed star. One even started a “Cheer Up, Keanu” Facebook page, telling Time Magazine, “I don’t really think he’s that sad; I just think his work is underappreciated.”
It’s reported that Reeves is being eyed for the lead in the Robocop reboot, although he’s up against Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp. Reeves just wrapped filming Ronin in Budapest, according to the Daily Mail.

Keanu Reeves all smiles after mystery date in London
A sprinkle of London love appears to have put a smile back on the face of Hollywood star Keanu Reeves after he was spotted on a date with a mystery brunette in Mayfair.
The habitually single Matrix actor broke with tradition and grinned for the cameras on Sunday – and the difference was the date on his arm.
The scruffy 46-year-old even waved as he led the mystery brunette from a meal at swanky Mayfair joint Nobu Berkeley St.
His date looked set for a breezy ride home as the actor was seen leading her away carrying his bike helmet.
The outing marks a change in fortune for Reeves, who has never married. His life was derailed ten years ago when his girlfriend, Jennifer Syme, died in a car crash. Before that, the couple battled heartache when their daughter Ava Archer was stillborn. In 2009, a paternity test cleared Reeves after a Canadian woman claimed he had fathered her four children, all in their twenties.
Last year there was hope that the screen heartthrob was set to move on after he was spotted with South African beauty Charlize Theron. The pair cowered from the camera flashes and appeared to be caught out by the chance run-in.
Their shy cuddle came shortly after the blonde broke up with long-term partner Stuart Townsend. The two stars have known each other for years after starring in The Devil’s Advocate in 1997 before teaming up for 2001’s Sweet November.
For now, Reeves will certainly be able to treat his new companion to many more meals in our capital as he is working here at the moment.
He is often seen around town, sometimes carrying scripts.
Reeves has just finished filming 47 Ronin in Budapest, a remake of a 1994 Japanese film, which is being polished off in production here.

Keanu's excellent time on date with mystery brunette
By Stacey King, Jun 13, 2011

He famously inspired a whole internet meme after sitting down on a park bench looking a bit sad, but Keanu Reeves was looking rather happier when he was papped out on a date with a mystery companion last night.
The 46-year-old Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure star was laughing as he and his lady friend were confronted by the cameras as they left Nobu restaurant in London.
Both of them were dressed down for the date, in tatty denim and faded T-shirts and Keanu was clutching a motorbike helmet - although there was no sign of a Harley Davidson to match his T shirt.
Keanu has recently been linked to former co-star Charlize Theron, but hasn't had a serious relationship (that we all know about) since the tragic death of his partner Jennifer Syme in a car accident in 2001.
Let's hope we find out who his lovely looking date is soon.
What do you reckon? Do they make a good couple? Would you dress like that to go to Nobu? Comment below please...

Keanu Reeves has never married and seems to lead a sad and lonely existence if internet postings are to be believed.
But it appears the 46-year-old actor may finally have something to be happy about after he was pictured with a mystery woman in London yesterday.
The actor managed to raise a smile as he left Nobu Berkley restaurant with the pretty brunette.

With is long hair and unshaven face, the Matrix star was his usual camera shy self but seemed to be happy being in the lady's company.
He carried a cycle helmet in his hand and was dressed down in jeans, T-shirt and green jacket.
His date looked slender in a grey top, short denim skirt and had a large scarf wrapped around her neck.
New leading lady: The 46-year-old actor seemed camera shy to be spotted with the pretty brunette
Keanu has also been linked to Charlize Theron since her split from long-term boyfriend Stuart Townsend.
They were spotted hugging in the street last year which led to rumours they were dating.
The pair starred alongside each other in The Devil's Advocate in 1997 and
Sweet November in 2001.
When a picture of Keanu sitting alone on a park bench came to light last year, a Facebook page titled Cheer-Up Keanu was started and garnered thousands of messages.
Unlucky in love: Keanu has recently been linked to Charlize Theron but has seemingly not had a significant relationship for many years
The actor was left reeling when his girlfriend Jennifer Syme died in a car accident in 2001.
She had given birth to their daughter Ava Archer who was stillborn.
Reeves has recently wrapped filming in Budapest on his upcoming movie 47 Ronin, which is a remake of the 1994 Japanese film.
The epic period tale is now continuing production in England.
The film is a story of 'honor, revenge and impossible love' which is famous in Japan and is based on a true story.
Upcoming flick: Keanu is currently filming new movie 47 Ronin about a group of samurai left leaderless when their master was forced to commit suicide
47 Ronin is about a group of samurai left leaderless when their master was
forced to commit suicide after assaulting a court official.
The Ronin planned and executed their revenge against the official… and were then forced to kill themselves for committing the murder.
According to Variety: 'The film will tell a stylized version of the story, mixing fantasy elements of the sort seen in The Lord of The Rings pictures, with gritty battle scenes akin to those in films such as Gladiator.'
The movie, which is being directed by Carl Rinsch, will be shot entirely in 3D and has a release date of November 21, 2012.
